I'm back!!!

I'm back and exhausted...but enjoying every minute of it. Boy do I love to teach. My school is 30 minutes away and so I get up at 5:30am just to make it on time and prepared for the kids to enter the class at 7:55am...I know it's early! In my opinion too early, isn't it true that the mind functions better after 10:00am??? I would almost stake my life on it...ha, okay maybe not...the only thing I'd stake my life on is the Truth of Jesus Christ :) I usually arrive at home around 5:30-6:00pm, to a supper made by my wonderful Mo (ha, that's Mom without the 'm'). Boy am I spoiled and well taken care of, God is good.

So I guess I owe an appology to all my die hard blog fans out there, not to name names or anything ABBEY and SHARON!!! But I miss you all so desparately, it's almost easier to not write and miss you so much while typing ;( yes, that's a tear.

I don't know what I can tell you all that would interest you. I have to get up in a few short hours and I still have some lesson planning to do. My 'new found friend' and I are working on two grade two units, one in science (Boats and Buoyancy) and one in math (adding two digits by two digits with regrouping)-oh the teacher lingo, yikes!

At this time in my life I am consumed by teaching, planning and marking. A cycle that never seems to have an end in sight. I think you can tell that you've made the right career choice, if at the end of the day you are giddy with the fun you have had and when you are looking forward to the next day of WORK!

Sorry to end so abruptly but I have to sign off now. I hope you are all satisfied to some level with what you have read today. I'll try and keep my blog updated as much as possible.

By the way, a little side note...if anyone (girls only) are looking for an indepth, life-altering bible study---please look into anything by Beth Moore...just google her. Wow...that's all I have to say about how she helps us dive into the bible is WOW!

Love you my friends and family.

PS-not time to prove read...so you get what you get!

I'm very glad to see that you're back. I just had a nursery meeting (which went pretty well...Kevin did all the talking, I like doing the behind the scenes thing...not the speaking), when I got home I thought I'd check to see if anyone wrote anything new for me to read. I actually wasn't even going to check yours but I did, and to my utter surprise...you wrote something new!!

I'm glad that you love teaching so much, it's definitely something that you're gifted at. When you can go away from the job excited about the next day you know you're in the right profession.

I love you Kelly, and am SO glad that you're enjoying teaching little ones. God's blessed you with those talents, and I'm glad that you're using them. I can't wait until I see you in 4 weeks. Keep me posted until then...you know what I'm talking about :)

i echo Abbey - apart from I was in data analysis and not a nursery meeting! LOL Hmmmm. ANyway It was really nice to hear your voice for a little bit tonight and I look forward to talking to you at the weekend. mwah!!!
Oh and I also think its funny that the oly mistake you made there was when you said you didn't have time to check for mistakes. I think you meant proof read and not prove read. Haha - I love you

Kelly - I am with you on the teaching thing - the giddiness... all of it. Looking forward to reconnecting with you! I hope you have a great day today - and that you are feeling refreshed despite the mountain of work you have to do! Take care Kelly!
