Three kinds of pie!!!

What is Thanksgiving without three kinds of pie? A sad Thanksgiving :) Just kidding. I know it's not about the food, the food is just a tasty tradition.
Some things I am thankful for: my persevering mom (who put on a bountiful feast for her kids and some extras), my colleagues at TCS (who have been extremely supportive over my first month of teaching), my sisters (who love me and are my closest friends), my dad (who is also my Bible teacher:), and most important, for my God who gives me a purpose and guides me through the life He has provided me with. Let's thank God!

Mmmm...the pie was definitely excellent. I'm also proud to say that my pumpkin pie that I made all by myself was excellent. I was terrified that it wasn't going to be very good. I thought the crust was going to be hard as rock or so flaky that it was dry and wouldn't stay together, and so on. But it turned out, and so I enjoyed pumpkin pie two days in a row. Ok make that 3 or 4...I have left overs.

Nice Abbs, I'm so proud of you. But you know, the more you learn to do the more we will expect of you. Mmm baking. Thanks again for those pumpkin cookies. There was so much food at the staff dinner, that I didn't bring the cookies at all. I'm going to freeze them and eat them over the next month...or so ;)
